The Heir Pair was born from the idea that every item has a story and every story deserves a thoughtful next chapter. As a woman-owned team, we help families navigate life’s transitions through estate sales, downsizing, and liquidation services. Our name reflects both the treasures we uncover and the people connected to them. “Heir” represents the belongings, memories, and legacies passed from one generation to the next, while “Pair” represents the two women behind the business, working side by side to guide clients through the process.

Ashley has always been drawn to beauty, creativity, and the stories that objects carry with them. As the whimsical half of The Heir Pair, she's the stylist, curator, and treasure hunter behind the scenes, helping clients see the charm and potential in pieces that might otherwise be overlooked. Before entering the world of estate sales, Ashley spent years in the corporate healthcare industry. While rewarding, she eventually felt called to pursue a more creative path and took a leap of faith into floral design. What began with flowers soon blossomed into a love for interiors, collecting, styling, and uncovering unique treasures with character and history. Ashley believes a home should tell a story and that the most meaningful spaces are often filled with pieces that have lived a life before arriving there. Whether it's a vintage painting, a well-loved piece of furniture, or a collection lovingly gathered over decades, she's passionate about preserving the beauty and craftsmanship of the past while helping those treasures find their next home. For Ashley, estate sales are about so much more than selling belongings. They're about honoring a family's story, celebrating a lifetime of memories, and thoughtfully connecting treasured pieces with the people who will cherish them next. It’s true what they say, they don’t make them how they used to!

Josie has always been someone who isn't afraid to try something new. It was that open-minded spirit, along with a little encouragement (and perhaps a gentle push) from her fiancé, that led her to discover the hidden/intrinsic value in "used" and "old" treasures. As the numbers half of The Heir Pair, Josie brings over 10 years of accounting experience to the business. Her career in finance has been both rewarding and fulfilling, and the skills she's developed along the way help ensure every sale is thoughtfully organized and professionally managed. Yet this venture is a refreshing contrast to her day-to-day work, and that's exactly what she loves about it. Josie believes that life is about continuously discovering new passions, embracing new experiences, and remaining curious about what's around the next corner. One of the things she loves most about treasure hunting is the excitement of the unexpected, you never know what you'll find. Beyond the thrill of the search, she's passionate about giving beautiful, well-loved items a second life. The thoughtful reuse of what's already been created not only preserves stories and craftsmanship but also plays an important role in building a more sustainable future.
